Spartacus: Blood and Sand

Put 300 and Gladiator in a blender and this is what you get. I've been pretty entertained, for the most part, despite the dialogue sucking at times and the obviously derivative nature of the show. Next week is the season finale, right?

OH and I think it will be coming to the UK this summer. WATCH FOR THE DONGS!
 
Too many dongs, not enough titses. I will not be watching this show even on DVD. If I wanted to see that many dongs I'd go back in time to the boy's locker room in my high school gym class.
 
LOKTAR, there are titses EVERYWHERE in this show. It's just FOR ONCE the dongs get almost equal screen time. Last night I saw Lucy Lawless'sssss TITSES.

Spartacus' wife wasn't bad, either.
 
Well, she's younger than Lucy Lawless, but I don't think she is hotter. I do LOVE her bratty character. Lesley-Ann Brandt is pretty and hot.
 
Oh, so I downloaded the season earlier. Someone's actually uploaded two currently unnaired episodes as well. Will watch tomorrow.

Well how was I to know? All I seem to read in this thread is the ladies screaming "DONG, DONG, DONG, tits!"

We need more guys watching this show screaming "TITS! OMG HOLY FUCK! TITS TITS TITS!"
 
Well I lost count of the number of TITSES in the first episode after about 40. It was like being in an ancient Rome themed strip joint. The second episode had a couple of DONGS, but they weren't in your face like the TITSES were.

Over all pretty good! It's entertaining and any overly talky bits are always compensated for by the inevitable titillation that's yet to come sooner or later. The acting is a lot better than I would've expected considering most of these guys can't have much time for acting lessons after spending all day in a gym. The battle sequences are always well done (though the fake blood splatter is a bit overdone) and the CG looks pretty, even if it's not always realistic.
 
Apparently the poor women of Rome went around with their tits hanging out all the time, and might just have sex ANYWHERE.
 
Even in the gladiator arena the women in the crowd had one or two boobs hanging out. With all that sex and nudity it's a wonder that they needed to see men slaughtering eachother just to have fun. Were they doing it wrong?!
 
I have to warn you not to get too attached to any of the characters, especially the gladiators other than Spartacus and Crixus. If they stick to the basic stories about Spartacus then Crixus should survive, but who knows what they'll do. The actor who plays Crixus cracks me up with his facial expressions.

I'm trying not to lust after Varro too much, I'm sure he'll die soon :rwmad: lol
 
I was surprised he made it through his first episode!

I thought Crixus's back was broken at the end of the second ep, because he couldn't move after he fell off the podium. Guess he'll magically heal. I agree, his expressions are hilarious sometimes. It's those steroids that do it!

Loktar, if you read this I want you to know there was LOTS OF BUSH in this episode. It was tit-bush-tacular. I only noticed one dong the whole time.

Yeah I don't have STARZ but yeah I'll try and watch it on DVD eventually.

Between internet and the TV shows I already watch and trying to have some semblance of a normal life(especially now that I moved back in with my parents), plus job searching its hard for me to add new shows to my already extensive list. I'll try to play catch up maybe this spring/summer when most o my shows are on hiatus.
