So when that thing came along about enhancing me, I felt they were really trying—cynically—to make me more like Data, so that I would be more popular still, and I felt betrayed. Well the central concept of 24 is that each episode of the season takes place in real time over an hour, so if suddenly an actor doesn't want to appear in the rest of the episodes, you can imagine that presents them with some difficulties.
