They put the first seven minutes of the first episode online...but the youtube video isn't available in this country. So I haven't watched it!
 
So the first double-length episode is available to download in places where you download things, and I watched it, and it... really liked it?

The characters felt so much better than they have in some of the previews, especially Ezra who is actually not annoying (after, like, the first 10 minutes anyway). The slightly lower animation quality didn't really bother me, either.

It's definitely a much stronger start than the Clone Wars film was, so I'm very hopeful about where the series goes from here.
 
Yeah I it was good. I liked it. A good introduction to the series and the characters without trying to squeeze too much in (we didn't get backstories for most of the rebels but they'll come over the course of the season I'm sure.) Animation was better than it looked in the trailers and the only time I kind of felt it looked worse than Clone Wars was when the Wookiees appeared with their plastic fur (the baby looked like a LEGO figure.) Music seemed to be mostly remixes from the original trilogy but hopefully new stuff will come over the season. I remember people saying "THEY WON'T BE ALLOWED TO BE VIOLENT BECAUSE OF DISNEY!!!" but there were quite a few Stormtroopers blown up and sucked into space and I liked the Imperial guy murdering one in anger at the end. Obi-Wan was cool. A GOOD START.
 
Second episode was good too! Felt a bit rushed, but maybe that's just because I'm used to Clone Wars' four episode arcs (which could feel a bit stretched out) and I have to adjust to Rebels stories being done in one.

I liked that there was a female Imperial person you don't see that often.

Zeb is actually my favourite character so far I think?

I was hoping for a mention of Bail Organa, so actually seeing him at the end was a very nice surprise (and still voiced by Hermes.)
 
Episode four was definitely the best episode yet. The Inquisitor was awesome and Luminar's fate was really sad. Good scenes with Ezra and Freddie Prinze Junior too. And even an "aliens humping the spaceship" joke.

Chopper is actually pretty fucking evil.

... and here I was, thinking that I was the ONLY person on earth that does this while driving (without the accidents of course) ;)
