Deer moss, OK? Actually I think the fuzzy green stuff just to the lower right of it is the deer moss.
Shit it takes so freaking long to upload pictures and then sometimes Juno hangs and I have to restart my computer, so I thnk I'm going to only post the pictures that I think are really great.. well great for me, anyway. I am having a lot of trouble with getting good shots of bugs. I did take a picture of a dead beetle yesterday but I decided not to save it.
There's this giant evil looking grasshopper that I've been wanting to take a picture of, but I think they're camera shy because I haven't found one since I started taking pictures the other day.
Here's a picture of the tree that fell in the backyard last night. I probably took 30 pictures of it hoping that one of them would give a good idea of just how big the tree really was. None of them really do it justice, but I thought this one came the closest.
The underside of one of those banana spiders. I tried to get the face, but the camera won't focus if the background is too bright and I have to kinda get under the spider and aim up to get that. Maybe later when the sun has gone down a bit I'll try again.
It's a 46 mile long bicycle, walking and horse trail. There's a highway on the other side of the trees to the right. Behind the trees on the left is a cow pasture. The only vehicles allowed on there belong to the state parks dept. Nowhere in Florida is really the middle of nowhere anymore, the developers are paving over the state as fast as they can.
