Stuff in my backyard

Wacky I think you'd really like taking pictures of stuff. It's really kinda fun to get as close to a scary bug as you possibly can.

I might. Did you ever play Beyond Good and Evil, by the way? You can probably get it on Gamecube for 34 cents now.

No, I haven't played that. What kind of game is it? I suck at shooters, especially ones that have people trying to kill you while you're trying to aim. :rwmad:

It has quite varied gameplay, I'd say it's closest to Zelda in terms of control and combat, but there's driving sections too and quite a few mini games, and a subquest type thing where you have to photograph all the many animal species in the game (hence the connection this thread!) It's set in an imaginative sci-fi alien type world. It's really good.

And one of the main characters is a pig.

That's a really, really good picture. I'm finding it hard to figure out if you have really big bugs or a really good camera. My Mum's Kodak can't take anything near as snazzy.

She lives on Skull Island!

shhhhhhh....stalkers are about!

The bugs are pretty big, that grasshopper is probably as long as my finger. BUT I have been taking really close up pictures so the bugs seem bigger than they really are. I'm using the close up and wide angle settings on the camera. As long as the bug or spider holds still I can get a really good shot, but moving things always come out blurry.. which is why the grasshopper's head is a little blurry, it was trying to get away from me.

That game sounds really good Wacky.. don't know why I don't already have it. I guess the games title gave me the wrong impression so I didn't bother to look into it. I like adventure games.

It was one of those games nobody bought when it came out then a few years later even realised "hey, this is quite good!"

I will see if I can order it! I am out of games at the moment, I don't feel like playing any of the ones I have over again.

Finally here is the can on a fence post that Dr Dave asked for. ARE YOU HAPPY NOW?

And here's a flower, I can't remember the name of the plant. It is actually growing in my front yard.
