Ideal life -- by day, writing via high-end laptop in a beach-side cafe, camping, riding a motorcycle, going to the shooting range (whether that be an official range or just a good empty stretch of desert with no inconvenient people wandering around downrange.) Nights on the town or just staying home (be it a nice two-story house in the country or a third-story loft in the city) and enjoying Chinese takeout and the home theater, or enjoying the company of a hottie with a quick wit, a kind personality and great legs. :)

As far as the other question: better'n average.
