I like this picture. I don't know why.

Because you're awfully sad?

Quite happy, actually.

Sad, as in leading a sheltered existence, with no grasp of social skills.

You mean like yours?

No, he means like YOURS.

You laugh at a screen shot of a website's guest book peppered with your own childish dribble. That's pretty much all anyone needs to know really, isn't it?

I laughed? When?

Well, liked. I was factually incorrect, but the fact that you get enjoyment out of it is still proof enough.

But it is still there. Fact - ergo, sadness.

And if you ever laughed at anything comical on the internet, that would make you sad?

Not at all, but that image hardly constitutes something comical, does it? It isn't as if Les Dawson printed a copy out, enlarged it, and carved out a career simply by parading it about on stage.

That makes no sense. How does something comical on the net relate to spamming a guestbook with "lol"?

You have to look at the context. Someone who throws around 'trolled,' 'pwned,' and such as often as you should appreciate this.

On a posting board within spam threads, it is an entirely acceptable practice. This act has involved at least one sheltered individual to visit a personal website simply to post numerous messages in its guestbook. This is the sort of thing kids do who first use the Internet, and want to annoy people.

It is an extremely juvenile act, and only those without a single grain of maturity will truly find it amusing.
