Now watch them as their board participation drops now that the Lefty Echo Chamber has lost its strongest foil -- me. Now that I'm no longer there to absorb and deflect the childish horseshit of the Echo Chamber, the Echo Chamber will drive off the remaining Conservative/Libertarian posters, leaving nothing but the Echo Chamber approved posters who will then discuss... nothing. I give WF a month before it's dead without me there to balance the Force.
 
By all means! There are some of them who are genuinely fun and interesting people capable of having fun and interesting conversations. And here on this board, where they don't have staff shielding them from consequences, the four or five cretins who can't not pick a fight with me over trivial shit are unlikely to exhibit the testicular fortitude to dish it out in a venue where they aren't shielded from having to take it in kind.

To be honest, I suppose this was a touch extreme, as moves go. Necessary, though. If they had come around asking me to come back, I might have taken them up on it, only for them to play out this same dickbaggery yet again further on. And since I'm sick of that shit, that was a bridge that needed burning.

No, what it boils down to is rather than have an encyclopaedia-sized rulebook that the retards can lawyerball, WF has a broad and general but short set of rules combined with "staff discretion" (or owner's discretion) for handling things on a case-by-case basis. I'd think that you, as a hardcore libertarian, would understand that approach. Where would you rather play, someplace where there's a niggling little rule for everything, or where the rule is "play nice or get out"?

I like the second one better, but best of all would be just a minor amendment: Everybody play nice or get out. The way it worked out was, "Okay -- you, you, you, you and you, go nuts. You -- don't fight back, or out you go." That's dirty.

Planned it? Nope. Planned for it? Sure did. Once a board owner pulls the shit Anc pulled, it's a given that the only reason why a member of a crew that filthy would undo it is because he wanted his turn at the lever. I did sort of expect there to be some excuse when gul did it, but he didn't even have that.

But as per the usual theme -- they pull some grimy shit, I strike back, and then my response somehow, in their deranged minds, serves as the retroactive excuse for their dirty move.

I'd be very, very worried about living in the same neighborhood as any of these people. The mindset is fundamentally sociopathic. These are people who very well might shoot a random stranger walking down the street, then claim self defense on the basis that the victim would have returned fire if they hadn't shot him down.
