I WAS ABOUT TO SAY that Rani's breasts seemed to come into thier own this episode.

Anyway, yeah, good episode. Much better than the previews made it look, anyway.
 
So what was with Autism Boy takling about a grey man with no shape watching him sleep? I thought it would be important, but I guess not. Luckily Sarah Jane showed him that ghosts are a load of crap and SCIENCE is the only true path! Even though she saw ghosts looking out the window at the end.

YEAH, IT WAS PRETTY GOOD.
 
Maybe all the people who disappeared were returned to their rightful place (but not time), explaining the "ghosts" at the end? :)

I thought Austism Boy might be talking about the Trickster. He said it didn't have a face and was grey. We've seen a black and white Trickster, so maybe it can be grey as well. Or a reference to something I've never heard of?
 
Yeah, it did sound a bit like the Trickster, but why would he be watching some random ginger kid sleep and why bother mentioning it?
 
It was probably just his dad.

Good two parter. Pretty spooky at times and the guy who played Erasmus Darkening hammed it up wonderfully.

I presume the Doctor's pen ink faded away after he wrote "this is a fake", or Da Vinci would've just used some other canvases.
 
In the episode he writes a note to Da Vinci telling him that he accidently drew on his canvases and to just paint over them.
 
I hope ANGRY LUKE mentions his lack of screentime. "You keep leaving me at home with the metal dog!"
 
I'm pretty sure the real Mona Lisa didn't speak with that accent.
 
I thought it was nice that they made sure that alive-Mona Lisa had no eyebrows (like the painting).
 
Good ep. Mona Lisa's accent was an odd choice, but I'm sure they had their reasons...

Unintentionally funny bit of the week when Luke said "nOoOoOoOo we're not asking mum for help!" while shaking with anger on the spot.
 
the "Luke doesn't want Sarah Jane's help" stuff was a bit too much like the "Rani doesn't want Sarah Jane's help" stuff a few weeks ago.
 
Only with horrendous acting. I'm surprised they didn't give him a dummy and a rattle in that scene.

But then wikipedia gives no mention her having a demon brother of untold power, so maybe she really did have a northern accent.
 
Or maybe it's just a demon alien that possessed the painting or something.
 
Maybe in the finale we'll find out that his eyebrows are actually SLITHEEN in disguse all along!
 
Do you think Clyde's painting will come to life and he'll want to have sex with girls but Sarah Jane will say "not unitl you're older!" and they'll all laugh?
 
And then Rani will draw a picture of Penny Crayon and Penny Crayon will draw a picture of Rani and Rani will draw a picture of Penny Crayon and Clyde's drawing of K9 will get confused and explode and Mr Smith will happily report that the destruction of an annoying robot dog has been detected and the real K9 will pipe in saying "lucky it wasn't me, Mistress" and then the gang will take turns at riding him around the attic with their new friend Mona Lisa ("eh up, lad!") as the theme music fades in.
 
And Rani's parents are watching through the window but forget about it by the next episode.

So you were right about the K9 sketch coming to life (sadly Clyde's painting didn't.) No explanation as to why the Mona Lisa sounded like a Northern tart. Luke and Sarah Jane's fallout forgotten with a joke about him being "messy" and they all laugh! Rani is fit. Business as usual.
