It was sort of annoying that the entire plot was resolved in "K9, shoot the monster and resolve the plot!", but I'm just going to assume it was an homage to all the classic serials that ended with "K9, shoot the monster and resolve the plot!"
Actually as me and Wacky were discussing earlier this episode is a very interesting look on racism, with Clyde assuming the Blathereen were evil just because of where they come from, even mentioning that the colour of their skin didn't matter and everything. Rani, of course, believed that you can't just judge a single race by a single family, and so is very much against the descrimination of entire race groups.
Of all that all goes to pot when Clyde was right and the Blathereen were actually evil.
Mmm, I thought the same. Some of the references were pretty blatant, like with Rani pointing out that they're not the same colour. And it was all going well, though I did wonder how they'd stretch out a story of peaceful aliens to two episodes. Was still surprised when they did indeed make them evil. And not just bad, but genocidal. I suppose another one of them will have regrets or something in the second part to prove that they aren't all bad.
Well, maybe they ARE good and they didn't know the plant would do that. Even though tghe preview showed them saying "LET THE HUNT BEGIN!" and looking insane.
I was fond of Clyni, but Ryde is way better. It's a shame it's the end of the series because it would've only taken a couple more episode before they finally took it to the next level.
Yeah, it wasn't a super duper finale, but at least it didn't end with them all shouting loudly or pulling levers with little explanation. I LOLed when they got covered in dead alien goo.
Yeah, the shorter your school tie, the cooler you are. And if you wear no tie at all, you're the coolest kid in school (until you get told to go home)!
