So more than a few posters have been Permabanned over at Wordforge, to prevent them from revealing Deep Dark Personal Secrets. At least two of them have accounts here. And a good number of WFers have accounts here as well.

So to me the solution seems obvious: If Hood and CheekyMonkey reveal whatever Deep Dark Personal Secrets they know in this thread, then there will be no further reason for them to be permabanned at Wordforge.:yes:
 
I seem to remember Storm telling me (in person, not on the board) that he was very upset with something that Hood had done. I can't remember what it was, but it was right around the same time he was banned. Whatever Hood did, I believe it was directed at Storm. I haven't talked to Storm in 6 or 7 months now, when and if I see him again I'll ask him to remind me.

Hood, tell us your crime, whatever it is I'm sure it's been long enough that no one will really care.

OH! There you go! Hood said there was some kind of falling out with Storm back then but that they'd since patched things up and were friends again. I'll leave it to him if he wants to go into greater detail than that.

My theory is rather than Storm it's this guy:

I got involved with a WFer that I shouldn't have, and it ended sour (just as much my fault). Loads of people got involved with the drama when they didn't need to and made it worse = loads of spoons in the pot, and Hood took my side because he thought I was getting the rough end of the stick of a pity party.

Tension got bad and somehow (I dunno how) it culminated in Hood apparently saying some really mean stuff to Elwood. I don't suppose anyone knows what that mean stuff was except Hood and Elwood. I've never got to the bottom of it, anyway. So Elwood refused to ever let Hood back. Why that is extended to now, I have no idea.

But this was what ... 2 or 3 years ago now. Lots of stuff has moved on since then and, really, it was just a load of drama and from all the contact I've ever had with him, I know Hood is a good bloke. That's my version, I'm sure others have their own take on it.

However, since Elwood probably cares more about Storm and I'm quite sure Hood knew more about Storm Tex's theory makes more sense. No idea what their relationship is right now but Storm was trying to fix things at some point IIRC and if Volpone says they're okay then I trust him. Since Storm doesn't fucking post anyway and since pretty much everyone with half a brain figured out his nom de plume anyway after that unfortunate incident with apostle I don't REALLY see what damaged he could do (considering how he doesn't really have time anyway).

Storm came back under a different name!?!?
 
No. Apostle accidentally posted a news article that was written by Storm. There was enough info in the article to figure out it was Storm. Since it was an accident this is why Apostle didn't get banned.
