That's what I consider with-holding info. If TPTB had laid out the why earlier, people could have shared the whole Storm-Hood make up and dismissed part of the claim that much earlier. That's what I mean by more info.

However as I said before, what happened was just a symptom of the long festering problem and not the problem unto itself.


I can't say it enough. No offense to Hood, but this wasn't just about him. This was the culmination of long standing grievances against Eliteforge for their 'us v them' attitude.

It's kind of hypocritical to complain about an us vs them attitude and then create and throw around labels like "Eliteforge". ;)
 
Actually Firefox can be a pain. Sometimes it doesn't even come close to the word you misspelled. Plus the way they laid out the fix spelling part.... Do you know how many words spelled wrong I've accidentally added to Firefox's spellcheck? :lol:

I gotta figure out a way to reset it.

Eliteforge exsisted long before the word Eliteforge did. In fact it was the actions of "Eliteforge" that caused Tex to slap that label on you guys.

So really the us vs them attitude started long ago with the mods/admins/and select posters who thought they were God's gift to humanity doing stupid stuff to piss people off.
 
And the problem is when you zap off a post, hit send, and then as soon as it posts you notice some stupid typo in the thread title. You can't go back in and fix that without a moderator.

Yep. That's the beauty of rotating mods, not only does it cycle out incumbent posters, it cycles in those that complain the loudest. It's good for both parties and eventually would lead to a mellowing of the attitudes involved.

Brilliant! The whole "...walk a mile in another man's shoes" concept. Let the whiners moderate and the get an insight in what moderating entails and an opportunity to show themselves to be "jackbooted thugs". Very insightful for everyone.
