Things you love about Star Trek

Has anyone claimed gel decontamination scenes?
 
Don't have time to watch it right now, but it looks interesting. The thing that struck me right off the bat was the radio chatter at the beginning. IMO, this was always one of the flaws of the Bermaga era of Trek. In TOS they'd at least make an effort to have radio chatter with damage reports during an attack. In Bermaga Trek there was never any feel that anything was happening. They get a bit of a pass with a show like TNG, where the ship is super advanced, but they really missed an opportunity with ENT to have lots of Star Blazers firing the Wave Motion Gun chatter: "Prepare to go to warp." "This is engineering, warp field building." "Check." "Helm, inertial buffers online." "Check." Something that gives a feel that you're actually in space, doing something and not 5 actors on a bridge set.

I never knew this card existed. Didn't even know there was an Enterprise expansion. I'm gonna have to track one of these down!

 
Honestly, do we really think Lt. Commander Data would have that many flashing LEDs in his head? THEY'RE ALL BLINKING AND FLASHING, FLASHING AND BLINKING, STOP IT! I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE! ALL THIS BLINKING AND FLASHING AND BEEPING!
