This year's QI complaints thread

They should have had a Doctor Who special with Catherine Tate talking in an annoying voice (her own voice), Russell Tovey who's just there for Stephen Fry to perv over and...fucking...John Simm or someone.

He was rubbish on HIGNFY, but must admit he's good in Fresh Meat. Possibly because his character is intended to be a knobend.

And can we still respect Fry now we know he's been a cokehead for years? The answer, of course, is that we never did respect him.
 
It was funnier when they weren't trying so hard to be funny and were more concerned with trying to come up with the right answer than act thick for comical purposes.
 
Tonight's episode was actually a bit better than usual as they went a few minutes of actually talking about stuff without everyone desperately trying to get knob jokes in. Still not great or anything!
 
I haven't seen new QI in a long time. Wish it were a show that made it's way here to the States.
 
Despite my initial complaint I thought it was a good episode too. Even Uncle Stephen's experiment wasn't an annoying exercise in attention seeking.
