It'll mean more long winded anecdotes where you figure out the punchline before she's finished her first sentence. I think she's a decent choice, though, even if she's no where near as high profile as world famous Fry. She's about as close to a female version of him as you could get.
I think contractually he's only required to furrow his brow twice per episode, while Ian Hislop must make at least one joke about "FaceSpace" or "MyFace".
It was exactly the same as normal only with a different smart-sounding person reading the cards. Alan Davies wasn't too bad (he didn't do the pantomiming thing.)
Now that this series is over, I'm going to declare it better than at least the last SEVERAL Stephen Fry series. There were still some problems, like some guests not being great or any time they gave Alan a prop and the odd "sex lol" moment, but on the whole it was more about quite interesting facts and amusing comments on those facts than comedians trying to one up each other while Stephen Fry laughs about penises.
