Thread to discuss the relative merits of the Star Wars prequels

Even I, the Mush Queen, cringed at the love dialogue between Amidala and Anakin in ROTS. Just plain bad writing.

Yub Yub Yub.

ROTJ is weak. I love it and all but admit it. ROTS is a LOT better. And the love dialogue in ROTS clocks in at about 1 minute. Ewoks are on screen a lot longer than that. And Boba Fetts bitch death it goes on and on. The fact that all the characters were pale comparisons from what they were in the previous two movies. Too many muppets. ROTJ is technically a worse movie than ROTS and then some. You are of course letting nostalgia get in the way of clear objectivity, many do. ROTS had a lot more going for it. ROTJ had great bits but ultimatley ruined it. ROTS didn't.

It's the Death star mark II! Lets blow it up again!
 
omg that's right! I heard about that shit, or read about it somewhere, but had forgotten. Crazy small world we have.
