Tiger Woods enjoys Masters Champions Dinner 'quarantine style'​

Tiger Woods has been mostly quiet since the sports world went into lockdown, but he acknowledged Tuesday on social media that he would have been hosting the Champions Dinner at Augusta National had the Masters not been postponed.
"Masters Champions Dinner quarantine style. Nothing better than being with family," Woods captioned a photo of himself wearing the green jacket with the Masters trophy, clubhouse replica on the table. With him at his South Florida home are his girlfriend, Erica Herman, his daughter, Sam, and his son, Charlie. The Champions Dinner is a tradition that began at Augusta National in 1952 at the suggestion of Ben Hogan. Only past Masters champions and the club chairman, currently Fred Ridley, attend the gathering.

Tiger Woods grouped with Rory McIlroy, Brooks Koepka for Memorial

Tiger Woods will be accompanied by two of golf's biggest names when he returns to the PGA Tour at this week's Memorial.
Woods will play with Rory Mcllroy and Brooks Koepka in the opening two rounds at Muirfield. The Memorial will be Woods' first official event since Feb. 16, the final round of the Genesis Invitational, in which he shot 77 and finished last among those who made the cut.

Tiger Woods' 2001 backup putter sells for almost $155K

A Tiger Woods backup putter from 2001 sold at Golden Age Golf Auctions early Sunday morning for $154,928, which is believed to be the most a putter of this caliber has ever sold for. The putter is a Scotty Cameron Newport II produced for Woods as a backup to the putter he has used to win 14 of his 15 major championships. Scotty Cameron made Woods a backup putter nearly every year if something were to happen to the putter he used in tournament play or he decided to make a switch.

What we know about Tiger Woods' crash, condition and what happens next
Woods was involved in a single-car accident just after 10 a.m. ET on Tuesday near the border of Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes, about 30 miles south of downtown Los Angeles. Woods was the sole occupant of a 2021 Genesis GV80 SUV at the time of the wreck.
