Yeah, like a human being, some symbols still provoke a reaction. You understand this, right? It's like getting poked repeatedly in the chest by someone pointing a finger at you each time they make said point.

Still, I defend your right to speak it, to show it. Don't call me ignorant because I have an honest emotional reaction to it that I'm comfortable enough sharing. There's nothing you can teach me that I either don't know already or would be unwilling to learn, trust me on that.
 
Get over it already! Jesus Chirst! Why is it people can't get over shit....can't get over slavery, can't get over the holocaust....who cares! I mean really, it happened. Learn from it and get the fuck over it. Shit happens, people kill people, that's what keeps the world going. And for christsake, quit trying to prove him wrong, he'll bury you in links to prove he's right. You'll never win against him, so just conceed already!

In one case, a tiny room with a normal wooden door, with a glass window in it. In another case, a room which neither had a door, nor had ever had the fittings installed for a door.

In the end it dosen't really even matter how or what happend. What matters is that people died by the hands of "your cause" and people died defeating "your cause'.

If that were the extent of the lie, sweetheart, I'd gladly let it go at that. It's a good object lesson, certainly. The problem is, it didn't end there. It was used both as a weapon to destroy the national psyche of one people and a tool for material gain by another, primarily at the former's expense. If someone tells a lie that doesn't hurt anyone, that's bad, but it can be overlooked. But when a lie is told that hurts millions of people, over the course of three generations, that's wrong. And even though I know I can't do much, if anything, about it -- I'm still not gonna keep my mouth shut about it. People got used, and the people that did the using are some cold-hearted, cowardly motherfuckers who need to be shown out for what they are, no matter whose feelings get hurt by it.

It's not like that. I see your point. I just think outside Zionism. Zionism is fucked up, and pretty insidious, but you make the crucial error that people make about Jews being Zionist. While it's true that most Zionists are Jewish, very few jews statistically are Zionists.

And therein lies your mistake in this argument, believing that all Jews carry the Zionist identity, which actually fits the mold you rail against. I support you there, but I don't think most real Jews believe in the tenets of Zionism.

Jack, I've never said that all, or even a majority, of Jewish people are Zionist. In fact, that would be a textbook example of flawed racism which I pointed out to Mentalist explicitly in the "rioting" thread.

However, I've read enough of Israel Shahak, and had enough confirming first-hand evidence of plenty of Jewish people I've interacted with, to know that anti-Gentile bigotry, usually in very small measure, is in fact an integral part of Jewish "national" identity. Even you must admit that the "Us vs. Them" mentality can be quite palpable at times.

I am not disagreeing with you TQ, and that post was in no way directed towards you. It's was directed to those n00bs who can't seem to just give up. I don't expect you to keep your mouth shut, that's not your way. Which is part of the reason we get along so well. I was simply stating that they should drop it and get over themselves.
