Growing up? Hell yes. Darthsikle and I grew up in a White Man's Ghetto.

But I haven't been "poor" since I was 16 and started working. Granted, it made getting through college a lot harder, but it was worth it.
 
The house is out in Vail. ~2400 sq ft. Refinanced to get rid of bitchy ex wife. 2600/mo mortgage. Appraised at $418,000. No problems.

Understood. Luckily, my wife and I have a very strong background in finance, so we were able to get a really good deal on our home. Plus, I've re-financed a couple of times and now have a 15-year mortgage (12 yrs. left) @4.5%. Not bad for a 34-year-old. We're lucky we got in right before the market exploded. Good luck!
 
My husband is looking to get a house for at the most $200,000 and pay it off in 5 years. He's anxious to become a GC.

The drive to Jerome is only worth it for the drop errr i mean view
