Just when Bill and Sookie get back together - that vamp girl he turned will likely be the fly in their ointment - I wish I knew what Eric said to Pam as they were leaving. Damn that Old Swedish!
Jason just goes from having compassion for vamps because of Eddie and now he's joined the church of the sun? sheesh.
That foot sure looked like Lafayette's...but if something had killed him, why not leave his body in the swamp somewhere? Why bring him back to Merlotte's?

Wacky, Rene hated women who slept with vamps because his sister had slept with one, and even let a vamp feed off of her. He felt he had to kill her to save her (at least in the book) and the he had sex with her corpse because his thinking was that if she fucked a dead person, she wouldn't have a problem with her brother. They downplayed his craziness. 
Maryann's almost like a cult leader, huh? Don't know what's up with her, but I wouldn't mind staying at her mansion.
I don't know about y'all but Terry Bellfleur is gettin sexier and sexier. Especially with his hair slicked back and yellow sunglasses.
I can see Jason getting sucked into the Fellowship of the Sun. He is pretty gullible and wants to belong to something.
Vampire Jessica's got to go. If even Eric and Pam can't stand her...HEY IF THAT IS LAFAYETTE'S BODY MAYBE SHE KILLED HIM???
I thought Bill was a goner. I could see them doing that to make room for all the other guys that will soon be waltzing into Sookie's life (and not just Eric), but I'm glad they kept him.
Next season should follow the second book where IF that is Lafayette's body, Sookie and a very unsuspecting partner try to find his killer. But we gotta wait until summer? Probably August, too. Bastards!!!!

Lafayette IS in the books (Tara is too but very briefly IIRC) and he does get murdered so I am not hopeful re the TV show.

In the books the stories are all from the POV of Sookie Stackhouse, but yeah Bill, Sam, Eric, Kenya, Jason, & the Bellefleur family turn up all the way through, including some characters you havent met yet.
..... it looks like Tara, as Sookie's BBF will be featured in the show as a recurring supporting character.

Well, that sucks about Lafayette. He was a great character and the actor was really good. Maybe he'll turn up in some other show we obsess over.. he could be Mr Echo's long lost lover, who has been hiding between the third and fourth toe of the four toed statue.
