True Blood 2.11 "Frenzy" SPOILERS ABOUND ME HEARTIES!

It did, but it still feels a bit weird to me when it's almost the last episode with everything heating up and then they bring in a few new characters we don't care about. Eric should've taken a kid for an inflight snack.

It was weird how Eric was just the same old Eric and seemingly unchanged by Godric's death (though he could have been hiding how he felt, I suppose.)

All he cares about now is getting Sookie.

WHICH I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO WATCHING WITH GREAT PRURIENT INTEREST!

I know he's different in the books and blah blah blah, but he's been a cunt in the show and there's no sign that he genuinely cares about Sookie for anything other than her powers.

Arlene's kids were on the show a few times in season one, cause she was dating Rene.

I know he's different in the books and blah blah blah, but he's been a cunt in the show and there's no sign that he genuinely cares about Sookie for anything other than her powers.

Actually, he's not that much different in the first few books. All he wants is to bond with Sookie, and will do anything he can to do so. He doesn't really stop being a cunt until he's tasted her blood. (I think. curiousa can help me out here).

I'd taste her blood.

But which artery would you want to drink it from???

HER TITS

Not the one in the groin? Interesting...

Can they show that on HBO?

As long as it's handled by the special effects department and not Anna herself, yes.

Eggs is moving on...
Mehcad Brooks in 'The Deep End'
'True Blood' co-star joins ABC drama as a regular

By Nellie Andreeva - Sept 2, 2009, 11:02 PM ET

From vampires to ... more conventional blood-suckers.

"True Blood" co-star Mehcad Brooks has joined ABC's midseason legal drama "The Deep End" as a regular.

On the show, set at a prestigious L.A. law firm, Brooks will play a new character, Malcolm Bennet, an associate at the firm.

The casting raises questions about the future of his "True Blood" character, Benedict "Eggs" Talley, who was introduced in the first-season finale.

Brooks was then promoted to regular for the vampire drama's second season and has been prominently featured on the show this summer.

Brooks, who also co-starred on ABC's "Desperate Housewives," is repped by Innovative and Mosaic.
Makes sense -- if they actually "take care of" Maryann in the season finale, it's a coinflip whether or not Eggs would survive/stick around (I don't know about the books).

Chances are the ABC show will flop anyway, in case TB wants to bring him back.

I don't think his character is in the books at all, but then Tara isn't either. I think there is a Tara in the books, but she's not a sassy black chick.

He wasn't a great actor and he had no chemistry with Tara. SO GOOD.

Oh, so maybe he'll die and Tara will go back to Sam after all.

I forgot about Tara and Sam. Maybe he could shapeshift into Eggs for her.

He'd have to shapeshift into a horse FOR THE BIG DONG!

I don't even remember if Tara is in the first book...
