It felt like a half-assed return. That could have done something a lot bigger with him than just being a bit creepy with Tara then dying. What's Tara's story going to be for the rest of the season?
 
There's only 3 more eps left, so they will probably concentrate on Sookie-Bill-Eric-Russell from this point.

I predict he'll live until near the end of the Vampire vs Human War he's starting.
 
I too was surprised at how quickly Franklin was offed. I mean, I didn't expect him to stick around for much longer, but that was too quick to really be worth bringing him back. Fair enough to challenge our expectations, but it turned out kind of pointless. And it seems Tara didn't catch on after all, when Sookie told her last week what a dead vamp looks like.

Come on Jessica and Hoyt... get back together! The girl from Big Bang is a pain. Antiquing? Ugh.

So I guess Tommy's gonna get kicked out by the end of the season. Pity. I hope Jessica doesn't eat him.

Any theories on how Eric's gonna beat Russell? Presumably, those vampire troopers will be joining him, but it's got to be more complex than a straightforward fight.

I didn't really want to know what the creepy new barmaid was, could we keep spoilers from the books in tags, please? :)
