True Blood "Beyond Here Lies Nothin" PLUS S2 analysis AND advance S3 squee-ness

I read somewhere that Edward gets the chick pregnant and has to chew through her uterus to get the little hellion outta her belly before it kills her. IS THAT TRUE?

LOL. Maybe they're not all bad!

I read somewhere that Edward gets the chick pregnant and has to chew through her uterus to get the little hellion outta her belly before it kills her. IS THAT TRUE?

Apparently so.

I think it's something like her child is half Vampire, and because her Vampires are super wonderful sparkly that nothing can kill them, the Vampire baby starts to wreck thingys organs and breaks her spine IIRC, so stupid hair Vampire has to cut open her womb with his teeth (because her womb is make from magic sparkle vampire stuff and only his magic sparkle vampire teeth [WHICH AREN'T EVEN FUCKING POINTY] can break through it) and so it's like the chestburster scene in Alien but with a baby and a dude eating it out.

WHY DO I KNOW THIS? FUCK THOSE SHITTY BOOKS AND FILMS.

That was the part I thought was most unfilmable (out of alllll the unfilmable shit), but you know they'll just do it anyway somehow.

Well people can watch him creep into her room and watch her sleep every night and think its "romantic" so they'll lap up any type of shit I guess.

I think there just needs to be a scene in a movie -- ANY movie -- where the metrosexual vampire shows up bein' all emo, all the girls get all swoon/stupefied...

And then some random dude walking by takes out a revolver and blows the vampire's sparkly fuckin' brains out. Then goes, "FUCK you.", spits on the corpse and strolls off.

And for the record: ALL vampire stories have gotten as bad as "Twilight" -- that particular lump of shit just happens to be the most obvious about it.

You haven't watched any of True Blood, have you?

Oh.. lol

'True Blood' barfly becomes a regular
Kristin Bauer might get a meaty story line in Season 3

Kristin Bauer, who plays blonde vampire Pam, Eric's (Alexander Skarsgard) wingwoman at vampire bar Fangtasia, has been promoted to a regular on the HBO series.

Bauer had guest starred on Alan Ball's vampire drama for the first two seasons, appearing in a total of 11 episodes.

Ball recently hinted that may have a meaty story line in store for Pam for Season 3 when she may get into a lesbian relationship.

Bauer, who most recently co-starred on the CBS drama pilot "House Rules," is repped by the Paul Kohner Agency and Kritzer/Levine/Wilkins/Griffin.

It's a busy casting time at "True Blood," which started production on its third season last week.

Denis O'Hare and Marshall Allman have been tapped as new regulars, and Theo Alexander and Grant Bowler as recurring, with a slew of other roles yet to be cast.

cool!

Sounds good. I hope there'll be more of that v/crackwhore type woman who works for them too (but not as a regular of course, she's best used in small, hilarious doses).

I'd just like to state once again that Deborah Ann Woll is amazing.

Lafayette gets a boytoy!
'True Blood' adds 'Southland's' Kevin Alejandro

Kevin Alejandro, a member of TNT's "Southland" ensemble, is joining the cast of "True Blood" for its third season.

Alejandro will play a love interest for Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis), according to The Hollywood Reporter. His character, Jesus, is an orderly who's helping care for Lafayette's mom (Alfre Woodard). He's scheduled to appear "in almost every episode" of season 3, which will debut in the summer.

He's also still attached to "Southland." The former NBC series debuts on TNT on Jan. 12, but the cable channel is planning to see how it performs before deciding whether to go back into production. That leaves some room on Alejandro's schedule for "True Blood."

Looks kinda chavvy, but when they clean him up he has an Afflecktion:

I prefer the chavvy look actually, but I'm more excited about Afre Woodard. She rocks!

Alfre Woodard is one of those actors/actresses who eventually joins the cast of EVERY SHOW EVER MADE for about a season.

She was sadly underused in DH. And the whole plot was pretty crappy.

True dat. What's the point of being a regular housewife on DH if you don't get into catfights and sleep around the neighborhood? Looking out your window and seeming spooky and ominous just doesn't cut it.

I was thinking Drea de Matteo was going to have the same problem this season, but at least they let her be funny while she guards her murderous secrets, LOL.
