VKD: EI one month ban

Didn't they fix it so posts in AQG and the Beach don't count towards real posts? I know it was suggested but I'm not sure if it was implented.

Either that or thier purposely holding him back till after the guideline vote.
 
If they don't count there, where will they count? Boardwalk? Orbis Terrarum?

The Beach isn't what it was, but it's still pretty busy.

(I'm not sure. I was gone for a while earlier this year and I missed a lot.)

edit: Oh, yeah, and somehow Blondie, though perma'd (you did say you were perma'd right, Blondie?) is in the Islander 2.0 category rather than Dead Account with the rest of the perma'd.

Only the Discussion and Creativity sections of the board would count towards your real postcount if thats how its being done.

Blondie and CU were indefinitly suspended before the permaban policy came into effect. At this time the only two members offcially permabanned are Darth and myself, but I think its safe to say that CU and Blondie will never be allowed back onto the board.

It was never implemented as far as I know.

Heh, once again, a member gets in the ass for a staff error. By that I mean, VKD's suspension was announced by an Admin yesterday. But, he wasn't "actually" suspended that day. He is actually "suspended" for 31 days. Pretty weak, I know. But since they're all talking about "technicalities" there...

You're right, my mistake. I just entered 30 days and forgot to allow for time served. I'll fix that.

At this point Blade has 73 posts so somethings up.

Interestingly enough if you subtract his 38 posts in AQG you end up 35. I think somethings missing from those guidelines.
 
Well, your suspension wasn't for using words not allowed, it was for your attempt to work around the filter by using color tags. That is seen an attempt to circumnavigate the board security. That was what the warning that brought about the suspension was for.

As far as you not recieving a PM, I don't know at this time. I was assured that one was sent. But it isn't a reason for appeal since the real reason your were suspended had to do with board security.

Board security? :roll: yeah I'm sure the board was in *real* danger from what I did....

if bad language is such an extreme crime there, then surely the filter should censor it in any color?

No I didn't recieve a PM, otherwise, as I said, I would have ceased doing it.

What security does the word filter provide to the board?
