We Found Out the Sex of Our Baby!!!!

Congratulations - glad to hear the ultrasound's showing all is well. gender is always secondary to a healthy babe.
 
Congrats! I'm glad to hear things are going well with the new baby. Having the older child name the younger one is cool. We did that too when my ex was pregnant with our second child. Thankfully he didn't pick something weird. :) I think Grey is a cool name though. Of course, someone has to say it. If you'll recall, Grey WAS the name of our previous dim witted governor. Other than that, great name.

LOL! Yes! BDM tried to veto the name with that angle but any self respecting California Republican knows Grey Davis' real name was Joseph. Grey was a nick name. ;)

I spent 36 years spelling out my maiden name. My maiden name has a very uncommon spelling but a very simple pronunciation and 10 times out of 10 would be misspelled if I didn't spell it for them. I can deal with, "Grey, like the color." LOL! :bigass:

People who insist on finding out the sex of the child have a high propensity of cuckolded males. The only thing apart from doing a cum face that man has to do with the process is calling up relatives and saying "it's a girl / boy / block of cheese"

Congratulations LG, you just took that away from him. For other evidence of the man being treated like a weiner look at the really dumb name given and the male reaction. "he's not so sure about it" reads to me like he would rather call the lad "homoerotica" but hey, it's growing on him, like a necrotic fungus.

I actually think Homoerotica would be a better name. It's so bold and direct... what more could any bully do to you if your name was Homoerotica? Call you "gay"? It would be a waste of their time.

Grey has lots of potential, though.

Most popular kid in my middle school was named Grey, no one ever called him "Gay"...Your assessment of the name is stupid.

Oh and the deal was, BDM was naming it if it happened to be a girl, I got to name the boy. He was going to name our daughter MOLLY...I have friends whose DOGS names are Molly and I still agreed to it so kindly SUCK IT. :D
 
Times change. Just because something didn't happen when you were in middle school doesn't mean it can't happen now.

The point is, not only is there not a single doubt in my mind that my kid will NOT get teased but if by some chance he does, he'll be strong enough to ignore it.
