The PACE Speedrunning tournament for SM64 and other games has been going on this week, and will conclude tomorrow (Saturday).



Yesterday, they held a 120-person relay to get all 120 stars in SM64. Check out speedrunning star "cheese" getting star #118 in Rainbow Ride - it's the Magic Carpet star but now there's a "carpetless" strat to get it, meaning not having to ride the slow-moving carpet for several minutes...

I am playing Metroid Prime Remastered on Nintendo Switch as it was on sale a few weeks ago. It looks like I remember it looking on Gamecube, but of course it's actually got much-improved visuals. I do wonder how I ever played it on GC where you had to stand still to shoot!? How did we live that way.

I am also replaying The Legend Of Zelda: A link Between Worlds on Nintendo 3DS as I felt like playing it again. It's good too.
