What I'm playing is Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze (I dreamt a few days ago that Nintendo announced "Donkey Kong Country: The Six Genders", which seemed bold)

and, on my SNES Classic, I am playing Link to the Past + Super Metroid randomizer, which is really fantastic.
 
I am also playing Tropical Freeze (didn't play it on Wii U) and enjoying it greatly!
 
The music in Tropical Freeze is so good.

 
Killing the dragons gets really annoying.
 
not as annoying as having to do all the tank battles in Arkham Night *yawnorama*
 
the tank bat mobile is................ very bad
 
People were expecting them to announce new games, like the rumoured new Animal Crossing and Starfox, or at least show something of the games announced last E3 like Metroid and Yoshi. Instead they dedicated nearly the whole thing to Smash Brothers, which is a great game but pretty niche compared to the Zelda and Mario games that were showcased at their last two E3s. They went into ridiculously nerdy detail (Wii Fit Trainer's face is different!!!!) that nobody could possibly care about too. But Nintendo being a bit awkward and weird is what makes them Nintendo!

It's great. Comedy RPG which is very very funny and fully of stuff. Gives me Paper Mario vibes at times (that's a high compliment from me as you should know.)

I started playing Hollow Knight. It's really good.
 
There are a lot more Metroidvanias coming out in August!! And another picross!!
 
Seriously it's insane that Hollow Knight cost £11 and it's better than any full price game I've played this year and is fucking huge and the grubs are so cute.
