Fight crime, play Mario Kart with Robin, or just kind of sway back and forth in front of sexy ladies trying to use your "bat charm" to get them into bed?
 
I'd fight crime, and once Robin turned 18 I'd make him my bitch.
 
I'd drive around the city looking all emo in my batmobile, occasionally picking up hookers, who I'd take back to my lair and try to rehabilitate them with my batcock.

I was just reading wiki on it, seems very convoluted.

Apparently Thomas Wayne was the first Batman, at least in the silver age comics.
 
Yeah, they threw that in for a while but it got forgotten with time.
