An overwhelming majority of worldwide Jerusalem Post readers who responded to an American presidential poll on JPost.com favor John McCain over Barack Obama.

According to results of the poll, in which over 4,500 people participated, 75% said they would like to see McCain as the next man in the White House, 22% preferred Obama and 1.5% were undecided.

The same pattern was evident when asked which candidate would better serve Israel's interests. Over 80% pointed at the Republican nominee, with the Democratic candidate gaining just over 19%.
