I do have some distaste for the rather racist comments expressed in this thread. While the low average black IQ is an empirical fact - and generally a matter of common observation - these epithets are rather degrading to those blacks (not a low percentage) who do prove to be hard-working and productive. However, the tactic of inventing negroes is rather absurd (the Egyptians, Beethoven, Jesus, etc). Why argue if you insist on inventing your facts?

It seems to me that there's little in the way of "black history" unless a manufactured past is taken seriously as though it it were factual.
