Worst characters in Star Trek

I agree with Wacky about Sulu. I would have mentioned it earlier but didn't want to appear homophobic. :flame:

I'm only partially defending Chakotay, but I see everyone's point in disliking the character.:smfundecided:

(Brilliant analysis)
I wouldn't disagree at all about Lwaxana -- UNLESS YOU WERE MAKING A JOKE IN WHICH CASE LOL.

You should have said that about Jadzia, THAT'S where we always disagree in the Great Jadzia/Ezri wars. It's true Jadzia was kind of dry before Worf came along, but things got really interesting once they were paired off. I wish she hadn't left the show early, I would have liked to see how their marriage progressed (or didn't -- this is Worf after all).

I don't remember much about the ENT characters, other than the twangy Southern guy blows up in the finale, while fat Riker and Troi watch.

I actually liked Kes, or at least Jennifer Lien's performance. She hardly ever got anything to do, but she always made her contributions believable and natural. It's a shame they never figured out anything to do with the character beyond the kind of creepy relationship with Neelix.

For some reason I thought you loved Lwaxana and started a Lwaxana Fan Club or something! Must have been someone else.

Oh, I forgot one...

Star Trek (2009): Scotty.

Don't forget Keenser! (unless, y'know, you want to)

DOWN!

Q when he crossed over from TNG!

I disagree with most of you.

I like Lwaxana. I like Guinan. I like Q. Sulu in the movies was good.

Fuck you all.

I was never a fan of Q.

Most of us like them too, you're taking what 1 person said each time and assigning it to all of us.

But seriously, Lwaxana was a tumor on the franchise, AMIRITE? START A POLL!

I'm sure Majel got all her trek work on merrit and not because she was banging Gene Rodenberry.

I mean she starred in all those other things that Gene didnt make like....., ok drawing a blank now.

I loved her as the computer's voice.

So shes been in two things that didnt have anything to do with star trek, since star trek.

Count again. And that wasn't even your original point, that being your inference that she didn't already have a large body of work or that her trek work was only there due to her relationship with Gene.

I believe both these things to be incorrect assumptions.

Three words: Mot the barber.

Pretty much every other Bolian, too.

She was probably quite ill in the last few years, so I don't think you can judge her by the end of her career. I didn't like Lwaxana, though. She was just a one trick pony, with every episode being about her desperately trying to get a bloke.

I beleive my original inference was that she got a lot of work because of her relationship with Gene.

I may be remembering her more fondly because of the books she was in
