Wrestling?

I have watched this on TV several times, and it only just now clicked with me.

Now unless you're watching this on YouTube, there is no indication who this person is. I get it, all the Gen Z, Millennial fucks probably know exactly who that is. But I think there's an ulterior motive to them not putting her name anywhere in the video itself. Those not in the know, or who may have the volume down, are going to look at this video and think it's Sasha Banks. Both are black/latina, Cardi is wearing an Eddy shirt, Mercedes' idol is famously Eddy... They want the ambiguity so people will mistakenly tune into SummerSlam thinking that Sasha is coming back. And when they're disappointed they'll figure "Fuck it, I'm already here, let's watch this shit..."

Manically genius marketing move.

She is not a B-lister. She is extremely famous. That is the real reason WWE are all over this and want her to host. 163 million Instagram followers should put it in context. She would not be worth the hassle for WWE if she wasn't a big deal. You know how they love a big celeb. That said, other than WAP, my main memory of her is the time she claimed she used to drug men and rob them when she was a stripper before she became a rapper.

I never said she was a B-Lister, but I guarantee there are people that have no idea who she is, and WWE is using that ambiguity of mistaken identity.
