May 17 -
must get groceries- and soon before the stores close, as it's Victoria Day tomorrow and everything will be closed.
but I want to be in my garden.
Bah.
will drink tea and mull this over, whilst reading some more posts.
 
5/17/09-Just returned about 2 hours from a night of drinking, smoking, poker and playing Wii bowling. It was a fun night except for when we went to McD's at the end of the night and someone threw one of the burgers at the driver almost causing an accident. Then drinks got spilled and the rest of the food ended up on the ground in the McD's parking lot. Then this morning we went to Denny's and then the mall. Lots of fun but I am tired. Should sleep but will stay and catch up on spam as long as I can.

Another incredible day- like magic, trees have swooshed into bloom and leaf everywhere, tulips are a blaze of colours, sky is cloudless.
Everyone's out walking, bikers are roaring around, peeps have the little sports cars off the blocks. I've pulled out the 30 sunscreen lotion.

*checks for plate tectonic shifting*

got some exterior/marine urethane-type stuff for the table for my little outdoor café under the lilacs, but I need to sand it first and it's raining this morning so looks like that'll have to wait. teaching this afternoon and evening so no time later. bah.

22/5/09 Stared the day very tired after being up to late on TK chat, never did find out which of John, Tomtrek and Wacky was the last to leave
 
May 23:
picked up exchange student from Québec who's staying with us for the week. Trying to remember he's here to speak ENGLISH, but it's hard to resist speaking French with him.
 
May 23: Slept in, watched AVP: Requiem, spammed online, played poker with my brother and his friends.
 
May 24 -
sunny & dry out so can start sanding that table.
Eggs, can you PM me that link, please, my old one was acting all wonky before anyway, and wouldn't let me log in most of the time. And as I couldnt log in, I couldnt let you know. THAT'S WHY YOU NEVER SEE ME THERE.

'sposed to get together with my singing group today, but dont feel like it. Maybe I will later.

Got to sleep in a bit since I didn't have to be at work until 6 this morning. But since they were just news cutins, have spent the last hour and a half spamming. Gotta go to the store today when I'm done in a few hours and get stuff to cook with the Talapia we're having for dinner tonight. Extremely booooooring
 
may 26;
day off! - did laundry & dishes at leisure,gardened, made brownies, watched season finale of No.1 Ladies Detective Agency, spammed and now am thinking about what to make for dinner. then have a great British murder mystery waiting to go with those brownies and some tea.
 
26/5/09 saw a squirrel on the way to work, which was nice.

Later today my boy saw a spider on the stairs, and said "whack it daddy, never mind, I'll whack it" then crushed it with his bare hands.
