ZELDA GAMES RATED IN ORDER OF GOODNESS

Oh no, Wacky. Allow me to correct your wrong opinions.

1. ゼルダの伝説　ー　風のタクト - The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
Seriously this is the best game. Sailing on the Ocean is neat, Link has an actual personality, the characters are lovely, the graphics are pretty, the dungeon design is good, it has the best music in the series. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise!
2. ゼルダの伝説　ー　神々のトライフォース - The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
Nintendo liked this so much they remade it in 3D 7 years later!
But seriously this game is very pretty, has an astounding amount of content (13 dungeons what!), and the overworld(s) are the best in the series.
3. ゼルダの伝説　ー　ムジュラの仮面 - The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
Yeah this game is okay I guess.
4. ゼルダの伝説　ー　夢をみる島 - The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening
This game is like a handcrafted jewel with everything packed really tightly together and polished for an amazing amount of time. The overworld is probably better designed than LttP's, but it's really fun to dash around for long times in LttP and cut down everything, and this one is smaller, so it can't be helped. It's really amazing how basically every screen in the overworld is a puzzle, though!
5. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
What if they remade OoT but made it better? Yeah.
6. ゼルダの伝説　ー　時のオカリナ - The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
You know, it's kind of a 3D version of Link to the Past, except mechanically clunky. It's a great proof of concept for a fantastic game, though!
7. ゼルダの伝説　ー　4つの剣+ - The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Adventure
This is actually secretly the best Zelda game. Also it's prettier than Wind Waker. You need to gather friends, and then not mind when you inevitably lose them, but the most fun I've had playing a Zelda game I've had playing this.
8-12. The other handheld games
Who cares? Spirit Tracks is better than Phantom Hourglass, the Oracle games are better than the Minish Cap, and they're all worth playing. Except Phantom Hourglass.
13. ゼルダの伝説 - The Legend of Zelda
This is unplayable.
14. ZELDA2 リンクの冒険 - The Legend of Zelda: The Adventure of Link
This is unplayable shit.

OKAY so.
I'm replaying Wind Waker right now in glorious high definition thanks to the power of Wii U, and it is far and away The Best Zelda Game Ever.

Skyward Sword probably ranks at, like, number 10. It's better than some handheld games (the DS games), worse than others (the Oracle games).

And obviously Four Swords Adventure is no longer prettier than Wind Waker.
 
(Skyward Sword is pretty bad though. Replaying Wind Waker, it's clear that Nintendo has kind of forgotten why Zelda games are so good and they're doing all the wrong things.)

I liked Skyward Sword, but even I admit that it got repetitve, especially how many times I had to fight demise.

I adore WW. It's so much fun.

But I think my favorite might just be Twilight Princess.

Look at this post! Nintendo remembered why Zelda games are good, and Link Between Worlds is really good.
 
Well I do agree that Link Between Worlds was really good and I liked the direction it took the series in but I still really liked Skyward Sword despite the linearity and will always mention that.

I think Link Between Worlds fits in at number 3! Wow!
