Both of which describe the zombiism as a disease.

I AM LEGEND was a remake of Vincent Price's I AM LEGEND, which itself was based on the book by Richard Matheson entitled I AM LEGEND, which concerns VAMPIRES as a disease, not ZOMBIES.
