The Question

Soooo your position on this is that imposed scarcity doesn't cause prices to increase? Because that is a really, really strange hill to die on.
Yeah - the homeless situation in Seattle was pretty disturbing when we were last there. We have issues in Fort Worth and Dallas too.
The idiotic Texas Republicans just held one of their little shindigs and declared - again - that Biden stole the election from Trump. They just can't believe that more of us still don't want that creep in office.
When we were in Bellingham, the people we saw all looked like hipsters and yuppies. I'd wondered where those people lived and found out.
My favorite place in Washington is still Port Townsend. My tribe was on that pier having a party the evening I got there. Then the next morning when I was out for my walk, the deer came out and walked with me.
I'd always considered myself a middle of the road kind of person but after 2016, I can not bring myself to vote for any Republican. That party has gone right into the crapper.
Looking forward to traveling again. Miss flying someplace, taking a train someplace else, getting on a boat or a ferry to go somewhere else, then driving around in a car looking at stuff we don't have around here.
Carmel is Carmel-by-the-Sea in California. It was pretty chilly there in the summertime. Travel buddy loved it because when we were out on the beach a lost dog came up to her for help finding its person. Travel buddy does dog rescues, adoptions, fosters, and daycare. Whenever we are traveling together and I want to go someplace she doesn't, I find a dog park or animal shelter to park her at for a few hours while I go do what I want.
Travel buddy wants to to go to Idaho and I want to go to Italy and Sicily so don't know when we'll be traveling together again. Would love to get back to Washington though.
Do you ever travel to Texas?
They need lebensraum. For the taters. AU GRATIN UBER ALLES! Or something.Isn't Idaho getting into taking part of Oregon to become "Greater Idaho"?
She wants to go to Coeur d'Alene. Haven't talked with her about why. All I know is my ex moved to Idaho to live with the bunker crazies. Not my kind of place.I haven't traveled anywhere in quite a while.
Why Idaho?
There are some places I want to see there, but not as a destination.....tho since I've never been I don't know-I've just seen pictures. Idaho is also closely related to the east side of this state politically-BUT I'M SURE THERE ARE NICE PEOPLE THERE!!!
Don't they have a song like that?Isn't Idaho getting into taking part of Oregon to become "Greater Idaho"?
Stayed with one of my long time author friends for a retreat at her cabin in Beech Mountain, North Carolina last year. Bears. Deer. Foxes. Curvy roads. Day trips to Blue Ridge Parkway and Blowing Rock. Took a tour of the Biltmore estate in Asheville when we first arrived in North Carolina. Loved it all. Would do it again. Those all sound wonderful and interesting!
Right now my road trip would take me to meet and visit people. People I have already met and people I know only online through gaming and various other places.
I would love to see the Grand Canyon, the huge Sequoias and Redwoods, any waterfalls, the east coast in the fall, any snow capped mountains and forests. I would love to go to Glacier National Park, which is really not that far from me.
And I would visit my friend in North Carolina and join her in hiking.
I don't know. That part of the country is really strange.Don't they have a song like that?
