Dollhouse discussion thread

HELLO WORDFORGE FRIENDS!

Maybe Topher is the mole, and he dies horribly when Helo rips his head off and shits down his neck.

we can dream, can't we?

Topher can't be the mole as whoever the mole is added Echo's message while Topher wasn't looking.

I WANT TOPHER TO BE THE MOLE SO HE CAN DIE :rwmad:

Maybe the mole will kill him.

Eh, not a big fan. In fact the 2 minute promo for next weeks episode was much more interesting.

I mean c'mon, everyone getting stoned is not an episode. It's just boring and cliched IMO. Flashbacks were okay, but hippy activist Echo didn't really do much for me.

So yeah, WTF? is up with next week? You serious? Can't be what they made it out to be, or this will be one short lived series... or else it will completely different from what it was sold as. I must say I am quite excited and intrigued.

I tried watching it last night, and I just can't get past Eliza's acting. Will try to watch next week since I saw Amy Acker in the previews.

I liked last night's episode more than the first 4 that I saw (I missed the big episode 6). I actually didn't hate Topher, I was hoping he would take his underwear off and do it with the proper British chick .. THEY SHOULD HAVE! I can tell they're hot for each other. I wonder if the guy ever got untied from his bed.

It wasn't as good as last week's, which was a shame as I was thinking "oh no, Cassie's seeing an inferior episode." Glad you liked it anyway. Echo's backstory wasn't very interesting. Why is Alpha so interested in her when she's just a smelly hippy? And, yet again, Dushku just isn't good enough to be the lead actress. Last week's was better because it was more from Helo's point of view (yes I'm saying Helo is a better actor than Dushku.)

The drugged-up bits were okay but not as funny as the similar scenes in Buffy and Angel.

The drugged up scenes would have improved with SEX.

I think what I liked about it was that it wasn't super serious, the show's premise is too silly for them to be too serious.

I didn't really get the last bit between DeWitt (english) woman and Dominic (asshole guy). They were acting all awkward like they'd done something when drugged, but they weren't together during the episode.

Yeah, that wasn't so great.

I guess they were just embarrassed.

I LIKED IT BUT I GUESS I'M WRONG ABOUT IT HUH.

I mean c'mon, everyone getting stoned is not an episode.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS, DISCUSSION OF FUTURE EPISODE.

So.... what are everyone's thoughts about next week? Will the escape fail and they all get wiped? (my vote). Or will they manage to escape and now join Helo in the search for the REAL story behind the Dollhouse (doesn't sound very good or make much sense). What other options are there?

Ratings keep dropping despite last week's being good (and up against the BSG finale, so you'd think this week's would be higher.)

I haven't seen the preview, but I can't imagine them escaping this early. Maybe one of them will escape and the others are stopped or something.

The previews show several of them getting out of their floor coffins and being confused about it, then pretending to be brainless while they try to figure out why they are prisoners. I suspect that idiot Topher will figure out something's wrong and wipe all of them after he fixes whatever keeps making them glitch.

The thing is, didn't most of them actually volunteer to be in? Caroline certainly knew and the black guy at the end of the latest one.

I don't think they know who they are, they just aren't the mindless idiots they usually are between assignments.
