I'M FAT DEAL WITH IT

I suspect that is true about diet soda drinkers gain more weight.

I think of the classic story of the person who goes to McDonad's and orders a large size meal and a diet soda and somehow think its healthier.

I don't know why people drink the stuff, I don't trust the sweetener they have in them and to me they taste terrible, that's just me though.

I have no delusions that fast food plus a diet soda equals a healthy meal. I used to get odd looks from people because I used to drink a diet soda with a sandwich smothered in mayo.

If you do a google search, you'll find several studies showing that artificial sweeteners make your body crave the calories that are associated with sugary foods/drinks, which makes you hungrier than if you just drank water, or even sugary drinks.

BDM is right, you are much better off buying sodas made with sugars than any sort of diet soda either with aspartame or splenda. Also you want to avoid high fructose corn syrup if you can which is much harder in this country. Jones sodas, johnny ryan, and a few specialty sodas have actual sugar in them. read labels. Also, a number of other countries have banned high fructose corn syrup so buy sodas from the international row.

Short version: aspartame is linked to a number of health problems up to and including certain types of cancer. Splenda has not yet been linked but was pushed into service in a similar fashion, without longterm studies, and they are beginning to find very strange results with that too.
HF corn syrup has also been linked to the increase in obesity and childhood diabetes as well as a number of liver and kidney ailments.

In short, we are happily poisoning ourselves...

Mexican coke is good.

I was also enjoying the throwback Pepsi and Dr. Pepper while the dickheads tauntingly dangled it before us.

If you want to try a new diet, go vegan. You will lose 30 lbs in four weeks, no exercise required. Add exercise to that and you'll look like Gerald Butler.

I lived forever once. It was an incredibly long time. Since then I've learned to die every so often to break up the monotony.

I only consume whole and or raw foods now. Nothing processed. If I have ice cream its Hagen Daz-its the purest form of ice cream I have found.

I went through my cupards and refridgerator and threw everything out with HF corn syrup-
ugh the list is too long about foods-
but yeah all that processed stuff people eat-and it isn't even food anymore.
It takes sooo long to prepare my food now, but it is totally worth it.
