Kansas Jayhawks' Christian Braun to enter NBA draft but maintain college eligibility


Kansas junior Christian Braun will enter the NBA draft but will maintain his college eligibility, he told ESPN on Sunday. Braun, the No. 30 prospect in the ESPN 100, had a breakout junior season, being named second-team All-Big 12 after averaging 14.1 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 34 minutes for Kansas. The Jayhawks won both the Big 12 regular-season and tournament championships, before winning the NCAA title in New Orleans. The NBA draft combine will be held May 16-22 in Chicago, and the draft will be held June 23 in Brooklyn, New York.

Australian guard Dyson Daniels, the No. 10 prospect in the ESPN 100, to enter the 2022 NBA draft


Daniels, the No. 10 prospect in the ESPN 100, is attempting to become the second consecutive player to be drafted in the lottery after graduating from the NBA Global Academy in Canberra, Australia, following in the footsteps of Josh Giddey, the No. 6 pick in the 2021 NBA draft. Daniels had an outstanding season in the NBA G League, averaging 12.0 points, 7.1 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 2.0 steals in 32 minutes in 26 games. He played with and against some of the NBA's best rookies and second-year players in the Rising Stars contest during NBA All-Star weekend, helping his team win the championship with four points, three rebounds, two assists and two blocks in the final game.

Canadian basketball prospect Leonard Miller withdrawing from NBA draft, will sign with G League Ignite


Canadian high school recruit Leonard Miller is withdrawing from the NBA draft and will sign with the NBA's G League Ignite program, he told ESPN. The NBA draft withdrawal deadline is Monday at 5 p.m. ET, and mostly applies to international players since the NCAA withdrawal deadline for those intending on maintaining college eligibility was June 1. Miller, the No. 43 prospect in the ESPN 100, elected to enter the NBA draft after a strong showing at the Nike Hoop Summit in April, when he established himself as the best long-term prospect on the international team in a week of practices in front of a host of NBA decision-makers in Portland, Oregon. He measured 6-foot-10 with a 7-2 wingspan at the NBA draft combine in Chicago last month.

Sources: Denver Nuggets trade JaMychal Green to Oklahoma City Thunder for first-round draft pick


The Denver Nuggets are trading forward JaMychal and a protected 2027 first-round pick to the Oklahoma City Thunder for the 30th pick in this month's NBA draft, and two future second-round picks, sources told ESPN on Monday.The Thunder still have the Nos. 2, 12 and 34 picks in this year's draft, and the Nuggets now have Nos. 21 and 30. Oklahoma City will send Denver second-round picks in 2023 and 2024, sources said. Green is expected to opt into his $8.2 million salary for the 2022-2023 season this month, which will ultimately finalize the deal, sources said. The Thunder have $31.6 million in salary-cap space to absorb Green's contract. Green, 31, averaged 6.4 points and 4.2 rebounds 16 minutes for the Nuggets this past season. The 2022-23 season will be Green's 10th in the NBA.
