Mark Sears joins Alabama teammates in declaring for NBA draft
He started all 37 games for the Crimson Tide this past season, averaging 12.5 points and 2.6 assists. The 6-foot-1 guard started his career at Ohio and earned first-team All-MAC honors as a sophomore in 2021-22 before transferring to Alabama.

His decision follows those of Brandon Miller, Noah Clowney and Charles Bediako, who all already declared for the NBA draft.

Kentucky's Oscar Tshiebwe to enter NBA draft, open to return
Tshiebwe, a 6-foot-9 center from Congo, was the consensus National Player of the Year in 2022 after averaging 17.4 points and 15.1 rebounds -- leading the country in the latter category. He didn't repeat as Player of the Year this past season, but still paced the nation in rebounding at 13.7 per game.

The senior big man now has until May 31 to withdraw his name from the draft if he chooses to go back to college.

UConn center Donovan Clingan to return for sophomore season
Clingan averaged 6.9 points, 5.6 rebounds and 1.8 blocks in just 13.1 minutes, shooting 65.5% from the field. That would put him at 21.1 points, 17.2 rebounds and 5.5 blocks per 40 minutes, which would have ranked first in rebounding and second in blocks among qualifying prospects.
 
Michael Jefferson, possible midround prospect, injured in crash
Jefferson had recorded career highs with 51 receptions and 810 yards in 2022 for the Ragin' Cajuns. He totaled 154 catches for 2,407 yards and 29 touchdowns in his college career, playing three seasons for Alabama State and two for Louisiana.

Colts 'focus' on NFL draft, mum on pursuit of QB Lamar Jackson
The Colts have been perhaps the team most closely linked to Jackson, who was franchised by the Baltimore Ravens but is eligible to negotiate with any team.
 
Tyger Campbell joins UCLA teammates in declaring for NBA draft
The senior from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, averaged 13.4 points, 5.0 assists and 2.6 rebounds while playing all 37 games this past season. Campbell led the Pac-12 in assist-turnover ratio (3.2) and also finished third in the nation in that category. He also led the league in free-throw percentage at 85.6.

Azuolas Tubelis entering NBA draft, eyes breakout combine
A 6-foot-11 Lithuanian power forward, Tubelis had a decorated three years in Tucson, receiving first-team All-Pac-12 honors as a sophomore and junior while being named a second-team All-American in 2022-23 after a breakout season in which he averaged 19.8 points, 9.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 30.2 minutes.
 
UCLA freshman Amari Bailey entering NBA draft
The 6-foot-4 combo guard made the Pac-12 All-Freshman team after averaging 11.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game, shooting 39% from 3. He played his best basketball late in the season, posting 50 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists in three NCAA tournament games while shooting 18-for-32 from the field.

UConn standout Adama Sanogo to enter NBA draft
A 6-foot-9 big man from Mali, Sanogo was the star of UConn's dominant run through the NCAA tournament en route to the program's fifth national championship. He averaged 19.7 points and 9.8 rebounds in six tournament games, capped by 17 points and 10 rebounds in the title game win over San Diego State.
 
NBA breaks 6 ties to sort out pre-lottery 2023 draft order
The NBA held random drawings on Monday to break six ties among teams with the same regular-season records, sorting out much of the order for June's NBA draft.
