BG Blood & Chrome a go

Do people still read Star Trek books aren are they any good?

I only know one person who reads them, who claims they're good, but I'm skeptical. It's nice that someone's keeping the Prime universe going, I suppose.

They were good when I use to read them about 10 years ago. Mostly the TNG ones.

I read a few many years ago but never really felt compelled to keep going.

I LIKED ANDREW ROBINSON'S "A STITCH IN TIME", OF COURSE.

The ones by Peter David were the best. Metamorphosis and Vendetta especially.

uhhh, probably chiming in a bit late here (unless I already replied lol), but I thought Blood and Chrome was fairly decent for what it was. I just got done rewatching BSG again and it can't compare to that at all, but it could have been worse.

And yeah, most Star Trek books suck unless they're "Federation".

More CG nerd stuff for those interested. :D

Turns out the Mark III (or Mk IIB according to the designer) isn't just a Mk II with a chrome finish. It's actually 25% larger.

Loads of cool pics on Pierre Drolet's site of various Trek and BSG stuff:

Yeah seen that before, I like the cut of its jib.

Might even have a go at making it, if I can whip up the enthusiasm.
