If you don't think parents should be able to force their child to have an abortion, how can they choose not to take on another dependent?

At the moment, there's no method that I know of. However, cases like this one may establish a precedent for legal severance of the parent/child relationship. If successful, it would establish the possibility that a parent can legally "divorce" a child who would impose a new dependent or dependents of her parents without their consent. (By the way, that is a prediction.)
