Caprica

Hopefully we'll see some battlestars eventually, but, correct me if I'm wrong, but we haven't actually seen any shots from space in Caprica, have we?

Battlestars weren't created until after the beginning of the first Cylon War.

Something battlestar-like, then.

Phil and Zoe are supercute, like omg.

Serge said some of the richer colonies already have battlestars on Twitter.

Well in BSG they said that early on every colony only had one Battlestar, so I guess we're at that point (or just before it) and it wouldn't be until the Cylon war until they started getting mass produced.

In the original series there were 12 battlestars, one for each colony and I think some people assumed it was the same in the RDM universe. Some of the stuff Doral says when he's showing people round Galactica in the miniseries seems to support that, but I think it's pretty open to interpretation.

Anyway, so my point was that it would nice to see some spaceships somewhere down the line.

Really? It's been a while since I saw the miniseries but I do remember saying that every colony had one Battlestar and that Galactica was Caprica's.

I think.

HOW COME Pegasus was in such better shape than Galactica? You'd think Caprica would have the best Battlestar since they seem to be the richest colony. (I don't remember the one battlestar per colony ever being said either and even if it was I wouldn't care if they changed it.)

Doral: "As I was saying, form follows function. Now nowhere is this axiom of design more readily apparent than on board the world-famous Battlestar Galactica. This ship, the last of her kind still in service, was constructed over 50 years ago during the early days of the Cylon War. Now originally there were 12 Battlestars, each representing one of Kolbol's 12 colonies. Galactica represented Caprica and was first commanded by Commander Nash."

That's what is said in the miniseries. Now obviously after the first 12 they started to buld a lot more, including the much more advanced ones like Pegasus.

If they were really out for geek splooge then they'd show a Colonial Defender being built.

Commander Nash will turn out to be Heracles or someone (not really.)

All I want is for Zoe and Phil to go into V-World and go on some flying motorbikes.

Then they can go to an alternate version of Earth at the time of WWII, park their invisible two-seater Vipers and save a train load of Jews from the gas chambers.

"How are all colonies able to support human life?"

"The colonies orbit 4 stars in a star cluster and some are barely inhabited."

Ahhhhhhh...

"Do you know all the capital cities of the Colonies?"

"I do, Patrick!
Caprica: Caprica City.
Tauron: Hypatia.
Picon: Queenstown
Gemenon: Oranu,
Virgon: Boskirk,
Leonis: Luminere,
Sagittaron: Tawa,
Scorpia: Celeste,
Canceron: Hades,
Aerilon: Gaoth.
Libran and Aquarion don't have official capitals. Is that sufficient information, Patrick? "

THANKS SERGE

Serge is very helpful.

Guess he must have access to the show bible.

I hope Hades looks cool.

Really good episode. I just noticed how hot Sasha Ruiz is.. HE IS HOT.

I didn't think it was possible for New Cap City to be any cooler, I WAS WRONG. Love the idea of hacking the game with an in game drug.

I don't know why I'm not watching this.

I don't know why I'm not watching this.

You can still catch up. Season Finale next week.

Wonder how long they'll drag it out before Zoe cracks and admits she's in the robot? I guess Daniel knowing about Zoe in the robot will make it harder for Lacy to steal the U87 and transport it to Gemenon.
