Carolina Panthers

With their 51-13 domination of the Carolina Panthers, the Niners are 7-0 for the first time since 1990. That team was the only other one in franchise history to reach that mark, starting 10-0. In each of the past nine instances, at least one of those teams reached the Super Bowl, and in eight of the past nine instances, one of those teams won the world championship. Sunday's destruction of the Panthers saw the Niners firing on all cylinders with Bosa leading the charge on defense and Coleman forging the path on offense. Among Bosa's many accomplishments on the day, he became the first 49er with three sacks and an interception in a game since sacks became an official statistic in 1982. Bosa finished his seventh NFL game with four tackles, three sacks, three tackles for loss, an interception and three quarterback hits. For the season, he has 20 tackles, seven sacks, an interception, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

Gee, look who does the same exact thing as Blackfoot. Posts stupid spam about the exact same topic, with absolutely NO discussion, while "liking" Blackfoot's repetitive, stupid posts at the same time.

Why is that? :bigass:

Embarrassing loss by Panthers makes this perfect time for Cam Newton return
The door could be open for Cam Newton to return, but the Panthers have more serious issues to address than quarterback if they hope to be a contender for an NFC playoff spot. The defense that had been dominating much of the past four weeks was dreadful, giving up 264 yards and four touchdowns in the first half alone. The piecemeal offensive line that had been doing an admirable job fell apart, giving up seven sacks.

Panthers to start Kyle Allen again as Newton rehabs
Coach Ron Rivera said on Monday that Allen would start his sixth straight game on Sunday when the Panthers, 4-3 after a 51-13 loss at San Francisco, face the Tennessee Titans at Bank of America Stadium. Allen was 4-0 as the starter this season and 5-0 overall without throwing an interception before throwing three against the 49ers (7-0). Allen completed 19 of 37 pass attempts for 158 yards and no touchdowns. Sacked six times in the first half and seven times for the game.

Bruce Irvin's 'dog' mentality is what Panthers need to unleash
It’s that dog that makes coach Ron Rivera believe the 31-year-old Irvin will help the Panthers (4-3) avoid a collapse following Sunday’s 51-13 spanking by the 49ers. After a similar loss last season -- by 31 at Pittsburgh -- the Panthers lost seven in a row.

Mario Addison away from Panthers after brother's death
There is no exact timetable for Addison's return from Birmingham, but team officials are optimistic the outside linebacker will play in Sunday's game against the Titans.

Heisman hijacked? Christian McCaffrey miffed, but not at Derrick Henry
The topic of Henry winning the 2015 Heisman Trophy recently came up when Carolina Panthers running backs coach Jake Peetz explained in his meeting room how Nick Saban coached the backs at Alabama. It wasn't a conversation McCraffrey, who finished second to Henry, wanted to join. McCaffrey still believes he should have won the Heisman during his sophomore year at Stanford, when he broke Barry Sanders' NCAA single-season record for all-purpose yards with 3,684.

QB Cam Newton to meet with foot specialist
Frustration over the lack of improvement in what has been described as a mild Lisfranc injury led quarterback Newton to fly to Green Bay, Wisconsin, to meet with specialist Dr. Robert Anderson. Newton has been sidelined since reaggravating the injury, originally suffered during the third preseason game, in a Week 2 loss to Tampa Bay.

OLB Mario Addison out vs. Titans after brother's death
Addison ranks 11th in the NFL in sacks this season with 6.5 for a Carolina team that ranks second in the league in sacks with 30, one behind New England that have played one more game.

No surgery for Newton after doc visit....Newton visited Anderson in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on Friday for another opinion because rehabilitation of the foot has not progressed to the point that he can return. Newton was diagnosed by team doctors and his personal doctors before seeing Anderson, with whom he had worked before when the specialist practiced in Charlotte. Renowned foot specialist Dr. Robert Anderson did not recommend surgery for Cam Newton after Friday's visit. There remains no timetable on when Newton might return, since the 2015 NFL MVP was shut down in Week 3.

Newton visited Anderson in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on Friday for another opinion because rehabilitation of the foot has not progressed to the point that he can return. Newton was diagnosed by team doctors and his personal doctors before seeing Anderson, with whom he had worked before when the specialist practiced in Charlotte. Rivera admitted his quarterback has been frustrated with the lack of improvement since he aggravated the injury, originally suffered during the third preseason game, in a Week 2 loss to Tampa Bay.

Rivera said he would refer to Newton's decision to get another opinion not as a setback but as just another step in the process. "He wants to compete so badly," Rivera said. "I did get the sense he was frustrated." Rivera admitted it also has been frustrating for him dealing with Newton's injury and the questions surrounding it.

Kyle Allen will remain the starter for the Panthers (4-3), who face the Titans (4-4) today at Bank of America Stadium. Despite a 51-13 loss at San Francisco last weekend, Rivera feels good about where the team is with Allen, who won his first four starts this season before the loss to the undefeated Niners.

RECAP......Christain McCaffrey had 166 yards from scrimmage and scored three touchdowns, and the Carolina Panthers bounced back from an embarrassing defeat with a 30-20 victory over the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Kyle Allen, who threw three interceptions in last week's 51-13 loss to the San Franciso 49ers, threw TD passes of 7 yards to McCaffrey and 12 yards to Curtis Samuel to improve to 5-1 this season as Carolina's starting QB. Panthers: Travel to face the Packers on Sunday. Carolina's defense forced three turnovers and sacked Ryan Tannehill four times one week after allowing the 49ers to run for 232 yards and four touchdowns.
