Doctor Who Series 10 - At Least It Will Be Better Than Class

And Black Mirror. Watch Black Mirror.

Has the lore ever explained why the Doctor Who is always british

Has the lore ever explained why the Doctor Who is always british

Because it's a fucking British show.

That gets touched on in the Doctor Who movie when Grace introduces the Doctor as British, and he replies "yes, yes I suppose I am."

I've only seen her in Attack The Block and Black Mirror. She looks a bit like Juliet from Lost when she has the blonde hair. So maybe the Doctor is watching Lost when he regenerates.

"I burnt my hands... and my muffins" should be her first line imo.

Tennent once theroised that the Doctor picks up the accent of the companion he is with when he regenerates.

So Rose made the Doctor speak with an estuary accent, and Amy gave the Doctor a scottish accent, its not official, but it kind of works.

Cool, but McGann regenerated around a bunch of Yanks, and he had a Brit accent.

My worry with this is that they'll make the Doctor being female a lynchpin for endless SJW crap. RTD managed to not make Jack Harkness all about being bisexual, while Moffat made quite an issue out of Vastra and Jenny being gay.

Guess we'll see which way Chibnall goes (no pun intended.)

On the other hand, once they got over the novelty of Missy being "female now", they actually did some fairly interesting stuff with her, so again, just have to wait and see.

While it would labour the point if everywhere she goes people were underestimating her or being outright prejudicial based on her gender I hope they don't just address it a couple of times and then forget about it.

Maybe she'll disguise herself as a man!

I knew Bill's final moment in the last episode didn't feel very final.

Looks good (and not at all Christmassy) but does it have to have Mark Gatiss in it?

Yeah, would be nice if it was someone else considering this is the fourth character he's played...but at least it means he isn't writing it.

I just watched dads army, he was even in that, is there no other moustached actors who can wear old army clothes available?

Jeez. I thought it was just my imagination that he'd been in it before. He's ok in Sherlock, but only because he's supposed to be obnoxious.

Because nerdboys will never trust a chick to carry a whole show if she isn't Helen Mirren. Or Mrs. Brown.

The Doctor's had more than one companion before.
