Dollhouse discussion thread

Good episode, would have been GREAT if I didn't already know that Tudyk was Alpha. Amy Acker was fantastic, she should teach Eliza how to act!

Can't wait for the finale next week, although
I've read non-spoiler review, and the reviewer said it was much like the series, somewhat uneven. The kicker is that the ending is a bit of a letdown, unless the series is renewed. Which, the reviewer (Ken Tucker from Entertainment Weekly, an excellent reviewer) says is higly unlikely.

LOL.
O BRAVE NEW WORLD!

Twitter must be a stalker's dream come true. Now they don't have to follow their obsession in person, they just have to watch them tweet.

Well we already knew it wasn't officially cancelled yet anyway, otherwise it would have been announced, SO THANKS FOR SNOT, DUCKSHOE

How many hot celebrities do you stalk on Twitter?

not half as much as he would like, the chocolate paedo

They all talk to me.

thats cause you sound like you have a big dick. lol

ZOMG! That building, the one where they had the bomb scare? When Paul Ballard comes out the large glass doors? Totally the building where I work. Srsly! I guess that's where they were filming all those weeks ago. It's the MGM Tower, and across the street you might have been able to make out "Westfield" in red letters. That's the Westfield Century City shopping center.

More on the ep later, I gotta go to bed.

Hmmm...

Felt the episode was too busy. With all that was going on did we really need the whole
Amy Acker's a Doll revelation/plot? And the whole Helo/Millie?
Some good stuff, but it needed more time. Should have been a two part episode with all they wanted to do.

It wasn't as good as part one, really, because it was building up for a big climax...then Alpha just got away. Somehow. Meh. Tudyk didn't seem as good this week either (or didn't get as much to do.) I did like the discussion on the nature of existence and all that.

I thought the Whisky/Saunders stuff was the best part though, AND I SAID AGES AGO that Amy Acker should be the lead actress instead of Dushku. Maybe we'll get a flashback about her. Probably not. So who was she originally? Topher's girlfriend or something? And if she's imprinted with the MALE Doctor how come she isn't surprised to have tits?

It was nice of Ballard to get Mellie freed after treating her like shit the last few weeks. Him going to work for the Dollhouse is a bit hard to believe though. And what happened to him having to bring it down? Who was sending him the messages imprinted in Echo?

Felt more like a season finale than a series finale for sure.

Wasn't too impressed with most of it. There were some great moments but the Alpha stuff just seemed way too silly. I mean, if they knew Alpha was still out there (and Topher certainly did) why would they keep all those personality wedges in the same place? Especially after he flipped out.. and another thing, someone just falling on the keyboard can make all those personalities download into whoever is in the chair? That was stupid. I wanted to see more of the Amy Acker stuff, but I was also tired of the Alpha stuff.

Maybe Topher did it ON PURPOSE becuase he's Alpha's BROTHER!?!

I almost liked Topher at the end of the show. I didn't get the part where Acker asked him why he made her hate him. Do you know what that was all about?

No, but from the way Topher looked it seemed be because he felt guilty about something concerning her, which is why I thought maybe he knew her before she was an active and it was his "fault" she ended up as Whisky and ended up mutilated...maybe she was the person who he imprinted Sierra with when he had his birthday party.

I hope the show gets another season. I know it hasn't been very good so far, but I still see the potential, and sometimes Eliza can act. She needs the practice!

She actually did some good acting when she had all 38 personalities going through her.

Yeah, I thought so too.

I liked it as a finale, I'm glad Alpha got away so we may see him again, and I liked all the wierd stuff where you have someone in another body looking at someone in YOUR body.

But they really should've just called the episode "Amy Acker in Tight Leather Trousers" because HOLY SHIT

God damn.
