My rabid defense of him? I really think thats pushing it quite a lot. I was stating my pov. I have not rabidly defended him WHATSOEVER. I have made numerous posts pointing at the fact that I am actually rather critical of him. I think I am being fair and even handed in my discussion of him. I'm sorry you don't get that from my posting because I am not a rabid defender of MJ at all.

Really? you just alluded to the fact that there is nothing to win. I am not even arguing with you. You are posting your views and I am either discounting them or agreeing with them as I see fit. Thats what a discussion is.

Depp made a perfectly functional Willy Wonka (despite off-base comparisons to MJ before release of the film) but Gene Wilder is Gene Wilder, and that's just fine with me.

Really, seriously now. You don't have any idea how bad a real rabid defender of MJ is. I am not even close. I didn't like Heal the World, I thought it sucked.

See that, thats enough for me to be shot by most MJ fans.

Gene Wilder is just a legend. Can't deny it. I do think his hair had more curls in it post Stir Crazy though.

Interesting that I don't remember using the word Love or the phrase "I loved it" but by all means infuse excessive emotional phrases into my quotes if it helps "illustrate" your "argument".

What again is your argument? It "feels" like "I am the biggest Michael Jackson expert ever" but you never did state it.
 
Huh, I dont have an argument. You're the one arguing with me. I made a video that I posted. Thats it. I answered a few questions then a disussion formed then in the middle of agreeing with you on most of your points except one you started up at me about whatever it is your going on about.

Male perms were all the rage at that time. Hell, even my grandfather had one. (Of course, this idea was planted in his head by his controlling wife.)
