how did the immortal gate get to EARTH?

EVERYONE in the world turns into the MASTER lol I luaghed at this it was pretty stupid but at least it was unexpected DON'T COMPLAIN TOMTREK

then wha tthe fuck Timothy Dalton sas that GALLIFREY is back!?

umm

how does any of this= the end of time?????????//

did K9 turn itno the master too?

Right, yeah, it was, um. It certainly was something.

So The Master comes back to life SOMEHOW because he apparently wrote a book about how to bring him to life but Lucy Saxon looked at the book (in prison SOMEHOW) and gave it to people and make "Make it do the opposite" and they SOMEHOW did it but SOMEHOW all it did was make the Master hungry a lot and give him the powers of CGI.

And then the episode started making LESS sense.

It felt like RTD saying "Well this is it BETTER PUT EVERY SINGLE IDEA I EVER HAD INTO AN EPISODE QUICK QUICK QUICK" and there was a lot of The Doctor running around a lot in a building site and The Master laughing for no real reason which really could've been trimmed down but oh well.

But it's nice to see RTD being original, as always. So after we got MILLIONS OF DALEKS ATTACKING THE EARTH and MILLIONS OF CYBERMEN AND DALEKS ATTACKING THE EARTH and MILLIONS OF TOCLAPHANE ATTACKING THE EARTH and BILLIONS OF DALEKS ATTACKING THE EARTH we now have BILLIONS OF MASTERS ATTACKING THE EARTH.

And some really nice things might happen in the next episode but it doesn't really matter because there'll be one HELL of a reset button and then Tennant dies and we might get a show that makes sense!

I remember the cool spoiler that Wilf was going to have the Book of Extrodrinary Things (from Family of Blood) but he just had some book by some black guy.

Well there IS still the subplot about Verity Newman and the Book of Extordanary things that's gotta pop up in the next episode somewhere but now that everyone's the Master I just don't know.

I just wonder if the Verity thing with the book is gone, resigned to be a DVD extra.

I liked the episode, but I felt that after five years of waiting for the time lords to come back, for them to come back as evil is a bit of a git, unless.

If each of the masters is a time lord, maybe everyone on earth regenerates and becomes a different time lord, and thats how they come back, and then when ten turns everyone human again it means he has to destroy his old race again.

I believe it was on a ship that crashed on Earth, after which it was seized by Torchwood.

Oh yeah, that's what it always is. I remember hearing the word "Torchwood" and throwing up (must have been a coincidence!)

So, everyone's re-written with the Master's DNA...did they somehow all get his memories too? Or is it just the Master's default state to laugh.

ANOTHER THOUGHT: how many millions of people died all over the world when they turned into the Master? Because we know from Flashforward that everyone being unconscious for two minutes makes buildings catch fire somehow...so surely turning into John Simm would have a similar effect.

I caught the last 30 minutes last night (Loser I know) and hope to catch a repeat, because I was like WTF.

I really didn't care for seeing Timothy Dalton's spittle so up close to the screen as he screeched.

Since I didn't notice it first time, I'm never gonig to rewatch this episode, because I don't want to see it now.
