DR WHO thread

Actually, there was a bit in part 2 when I thought at first they were showing Master Jack Harkness. The Master who was searching for the spaceship (and had computer screens displaying unnecessary geometric shapes) should have been wearing Jack's coat. Would've been a fun easter egg. And it wouldn't even have ruined the gay bar ending since that took place weeks later.
 
I have to say, I've never really gotten into Dr. Who partly because of how it's shown here in the US and I always forget about it. I tried when Christopher Eccelston was the Dr., but...eh.

But the BBC did a marathon starting Friday, and I have to say, I'm hooked. I think that's because of David Tennant. And you know, Donna didn't annoy me as much as I thought she would. Sure, she's not the lookers that Rose and Martha are, but she's spunky, and I like that.

So, I'm now officially a fan and might use my Best Buy gift card to get the seasons with David Tennant that I missed.
 
Catherine Tate (Donna) should be beaten to death with 1000 x 2 foot black dildo's. I have no desire to see this event, just to be informed that it occured.

It was brought to me even more sharply during the episode where she was supposed to turn left instead of right. I was shouting at the screen "RIGHT TURN CLYDE" but the reference was lost on everyone but my own puny brain.

I don't think the Masters device would have worked on Jack (at least not for more than a few minutes) since Jack is a fixed point in time.

Master Sarah Jane, Master Clyde and Master Rani might have been good, though.

Would K9 have called them Master Master Luke and Master Master Clyde?

Ugh.. the word "master" is starting to lose all meaning!
