And to answer your previous point, yes I've known you for a long time, but you've also vanished for a long time. When it comes to internet anonimity i'm a very cynical person, and very familiar with the ability to spoof both a username and a posting style.

lastly, no one is asking you to do any begging to the staff at Exisle. All we ask, all we have ever asked, is that you email the Admin adress with the explanation you originally posted. (before you posted it at least.)

However, I respect your decision to vent your spleen here, rather than cut and pasting your post in an email so it could get sorted out. That choice is always yours.

I agree with Gode. In order for this to get cleared up (hopefully for the better in your behalf, HF), I would send them a fair and decent explanation via email. It will take them time to deliberate, but at least you will be making a move in a positive direction. Sometimes, just sometimes, it's better to just swallow one's pride, or set aside stubborness (no matter who is right or whatever) in order to move in the right direction. I'm not trying to tell you what to do, just trying to help.

Incorrect on the first two. No-one is persucting me ('cept maybe the DVLA) and I don't care about my English anymore, I don't use it out in the real world very often, actually actually not speaking English is great sales tatic. I'll take your advise on the apostrophes though.

I never knew HF from the old days at SS that so many of you experienced. I only really heard HF's voice on EI when he rejoined, as well as here at TK. But I never doubted that the two were not one in the same. HF has a most distinctive personalty that shines through his posts. I can almost, but not quite, picture him in my head. I've met one or two people in real life who are similar in personality. They are memorable, brash, intelligent and not afraid of voicing what's on their mind in an interesting and thought-provoking way. Now,whether the listener wishes to hear the opinion or not is another matter.

One reason I've never used the ignore function on any board is that I don't want to limit myself from other's opinions, or hearing something that might be said in an interesting manner. You are never too old to learn something new, or a new way of hearing something old. If what someone says irritates me, then I have to stop and ask myself why. Am I afraid of what the speaker says, or just the way the speaker says it? Also, how can you form an opinion yourself, unless you hear the many sides offered by others?

Granted, there are many people who wish to limit the stressors in life, and I can't blame them for using the ignore function. Life can be so much easier when we eliminate those things in life that may cause our blood pressure to rise. But for me listening to a good argument or debate is not something I'm ready to give up.

1) Why not inform me of the problem and let me explain BEFORE I was banned?

Did you think I'd run amok and trash the place with much kicking and screaming and so on and so forth? I have TK manners and I have EI manners. I could have discussed this much more calmly and rationally over there at EI or even in PM's and e-mails if you had preferred.

2) Why is it that it is necessary to e-mail anyone at this point?

The story is out in full. I have no desire to bullshit you or anyone else and I think you and some others in the staff believe my version of events to be accurate.

So what's the problem?

If all that is true, then why does an e-mail HAVE to be sent in order for me to be re-instated or even punished for my "offense"?
